# 2.2.1   DID

The CreDA protocol creates a DID based on decentralized networks. Users can also bind their own multi-chain DID. The binding process is enacted independently by the user in a trustless manner. CreDA’s DID will be able to exchange identity information with the DIDs of other systems, such as the Elastos DID, Microsoft DID, and so on. 

The CreDA platform ensures that the process of information exchange is implemented transparently, independent of centralized entities, by the users themselves, trusting only the protocol.
